About Trees for Troops
For the third consecutive year, the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation will partner
with FedEx and the National Christmas Tree Association to implement the 2007
Trees for Troops program. This year, Trees for Troops will provide approximately
10,000 Real Christmas Trees to military members and their families across the U.S.
and overseas.
The 2007 Trees for Troops program will kick off on Tuesday, Nov. 13 when Real
Christmas Trees will be shipped from Columbus, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Ind. to Qatar.
The domestic tree shipment will take place from Monday, Dec. 3 - Friday, Dec. 14.
You can participate in the Trees for Troops weekend on Saturday, Dec. 1 - Sunday, Dec. 2.
During Trees for Troops Weekend, at Bennington Pines you can purchase a tree that will be
distributed to a deserving military family.
